'Lego Batman Movie' News: Movie's Second Trailer Already Out
While "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" continues to break box-office records as of this writing, Batman fans can already look forward to seeing another stint of the Dark Knight on the big screen, at least, in his Lego man version. After the first trailer of "The Lego Batman Movie" debuted last week, Warner Bros. released another trailer of the said movie that further excites those looking forward to see it.
"Hello, again, uber-nerd fans. I heard you blew up the Twittersphere about my sweet new feature film, 'The Lego Batman Movie.' You know, it's kinda like the original 'Lego Movie,' only vastly superior because it evolves entirely about me. So, anyway, when you are as super as me, you don't just get one trailer; you get two trailers in just one week," says the Lego Batman as he introduces the second trailer of the "The Lego Batman Movie."
The trailer officially begins with a scene featuring the lavishly big Wayne mansion and eventually focuses on the Lego Batman gazing at the family portrait. He is telling his mom that he saved the city again that day when Alfred enters the scene and inadvertently surprises Batman, which is revealed as only wearing his cowl and a bathrobe. Surprised, he launches his ninja moves against Alfred who lands on the piano after the projectile caused by Batman.

Having realized that it is just Alfred, Batman/Bruce Wayne apologizes and blames his incredible reflexes for hurting Alfred. As Alfred picks himself up, he asks Bruce why he is staring at his family picture again. Batman denies that he was, to which Alfred refutes, pointing out that he has seen the Dark Knight going through the same phase as featured in various live-action Batman movies.
When Alfred persuades Batman to vent out his sentiments, the Dark Knight refuses and starts dancing. As the music plays, the Lego Batman is seen leading the Justice League as they run supposedly to battle the enemies, which were earlier featured in a separate frame.
Lending their voice to "The Lego Batman Movie" are Will Arnett as the Batman, Michael Cera as Robin the boy wonder, Rosario Dawson as Batgirl, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred Pennyworth, Mariah Carey as Gotham's mayor, and Zach Galifianakis as The Joker.
Chris McKay directs "The Lego Batman Movie," which is slated for a Feb. 10, 2017 release.
