Noticeably, all of these packs are based on characters and stories that are either hitting the small or big screen soon or have already done so.

On the other hand, the four character packs packaged with the "LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2" season pass include Agents of Atlas, Champions, Out of Time and Classic Guardians of the Galaxy.

Meanwhile, Warner Bros. Interactive revealed some of the characters to expect in the game's roster via Twitter. Grandmaster and Valkyrie, who will make their debut in the big screen next month in "Thor: Ragnarok" are part of the title.

Other classic characters like Arizona Annie and Captain Avalon are getting some love in "LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2" too. "Spider-Man" characters like Lady Spider and baddies Morbius and Hobgoblin as well as Hulk 2099 and Ghost Rider are joining the fray too.

Dormammu, Phantom Rider, Red Wolf, Living Totem, Ursa Major and even Hellcow will also be part of the action. There were also hints of X-Man coming to the game.

More characters are expected to be revealed since it has been teased that "LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2" will have 208 playable characters. The roster will expand with the downloadable content (DLC) adding 60 more.

"LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2" will be out Nov. 14 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. A Nintendo Switch version will follow.
