Levi Johnston Details Bristol Palin Pregnancy in Tell All Book
Levi Johnston has written a book divulging details about ex-girlfriend Bristol Palin’s pregnancy and living in the wake of her famous mother Sarah Palin.
The book, called "Deer in the Headlights: My Life in Sarah Palin's Crosshairs," is scheduled to be released on September 20.
Johnston details in the book that Bristol’s decision to have a baby came due to being angry about her mother’s pregnancy.
“Let’s get pregnant,” she said to him in March 2008, according to book.
Johnston explains that he was "too dumb" to use protection and only went along with the plan because it was what Bristol wanted.
Associated Press obtained an advanced copy of the book and has had a sneak peak at other information.
AP reveals from the book that former Alaska governor and 2008 republican presidential candidate, Sarah Palin laughed when her daughter first told her she was pregnant, thinking it was a joke. Her husband, Todd Palin was angry and told Johnston to drop out of school and get a job.
Johnston also divulges in the book that Sarah Palin proposed the idea that she pass the child off as her own because she wanted to “avoid scandal” during her candidacy. He also says she did not want to be called “grandma.”
Johnston and Palin’s son Tripp was born in December 2008, and the couple ended their relationship soon after. They were engaged 18 months later, but split for good after Palin claimed that Johnston had admitted to impregnating another woman.
Bristol Palin wrote a book, a memoir called "Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far," which was released in June, where she details her side of the story.
