LG G Flex 2 Review: A Closer Look At Device's Specs, Features

In the recent years, smartphone manufacturers have stepped up their game in their quest to produce the best and the most innovative devices ever. But sometimes, a creative take on a device can mean that manufacturers will be cutting corners on other aspects. For instance, when LG introduced its G Flex, a phone which is designed to bend and flex, others were impressed by the unique design, but some were dismayed with the 720p display.

Now, LG is going all out with its LG G Flex 2 which was released at CES 2015. For the G Flex's successor, it's obvious that LG went back to the boardroom to correct the previous model's specs to produce a phone that is ultimately better and much more powerful.

Design:
Compared to its predecessor, the G Flex 2 is lighter and thinner. It measures 5.9 x 3 x 0.4 inches and weighs 5.4 ounces. It's also more manageable and less unwieldy than the G Flex, and it can withstand a degree of rough handling. Whether it's facing up or down, pushing down on the phone will cause it to flatten, but it springs back to its curved shape immediately. It comes with a "self-healing" coat, which means scratches and scuffs won't show up on the phone. It comes in Flamenco Red and Platinum Silver.
