LG G4 Pro News: Phablet To Take Advantage of Nexus 5X's Fame
The LG G4 Pro is bound to be released very soon and there are reports that the new phablet may take advantage of the Nexus 5X's fame.
Google recently unveiled its latest Nexus smartphones, and one of them, the Nexus 5X, was manufactured by LG Electronics. LG will reportedly capitalize on the current popularity of the flagship smartphone to promote its LG G4 Pro phablet, according to Yibada.
LG is expected to unveil the new LG V10 during its event on Oct. 1, but there are reports that the company will also launch the G5 Pro and the G4 Note on the same day, PC Advisor reports.

The South Korean tech firm is launching the LG G4 Pro in a bid to grab a bigger share in the phablet market, especially since the popularity of phablets has increased in the past few years. Based on recently leaked specifications of the LG G4 Pro, the device's hardware features serve to make the device a worthy rival for other available phablets, the report details.
GFXBench leaked some information online showing that the LG G4 Pro bears the model number H900 and that it boasts of a 5.7-inch screen with 2560 x 1440 quad-HD resolution. The new device reportedly runs a hexa-core qualcomm Snapdragon 8080 chip with 4 GB of RAM and uses the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop mobile OS, instead of the more updated Android M.
Other leaked features of the LG G4 Pro include 64 GB of internal storage expandable via microSD slot, a 15-megapixel rear snapper with 4K video capture, and a 5-megapixel front camera, the report adds.
As of now, the estimated price of the LG G4 Pro is still under wraps, but there are reports that it will be more affordable compared with other flagship smartphones of the same caliber.
