LG G4 Specs and Images Briefly Leak On Site
Specs for LG's upcoming flagship phone, the G4, appeared briefly on the LG website a little over two weeks before its official launching.
LG flashed a teaser look at the specifications of their newest handset, the LG G4, on their website before taking them down again, leading into the official April 28 launch date for the flagship smartphone.
Apart from leaked images of the phone's physical appearance discovered on one of the South Korean electronics manufacturer's microsites, a significant number of specifications were revealed.

The G4's curved shape with blunt edges will feature a "slim arc design" built for natural comfort in the hand and for a firmer grip on the phone's body. The handset measurements are 149.1 x 75.3 x 8.9mm, with no mention of its exact weight.
The power and volume buttons are located at the phone's rear panel, just under the camera, and it will come equipped with a 5.5-inch QHD resolution IPS screen to deliver crisper images with rich and authentic color.
The LG G4 will run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, which may be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop by the time the phone hits the shelves in two weeks. While the specifications did not mention its chipset, speculations have arisen the G4 may be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC.
The 16MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, laser autofocus and LED flash, will feature a "Manual Mode" which will allow photography enthusiasts to adjust shutter speed, brightness, OIS, image quality, and white balance, among many others. There will be a "Normal" camera mode and a "Simple" camera mode available, as well.
The G4 will have an SD card slot for inbuilt storage, and a removable 3,000mAH battery, which is rarely found on current gen Android phones.
The new phone, like its predecessor, the LG G3, will come in a flip cover available in a number of color variants, with options for a leather or plastic back cover.
