LG V10 to be unveiled in October event?

It looks like the South Korean tech giant LG is going to be busy in the upcoming days. For starters, they're gearing up for the launching of the Nexus device with Google, which is reported to be unveiled on Sept. 29. They have also sent out invitations to an event on Oct. 1 in New York. And though they have not divulged further details regarding the said event, chances are they are unveiling during that time the first dual-screen smartphone from the company, the LG V10.

According to Realty Today, LG is revealing the LG V10 that is similar to Samsung China's G9198 which was launched in China. It is rumored to feature an 'auxiliary ticker display' similar to the Samsung Continuum smartphone. And basing on how the event is movie-themed because of its clapperboard invites, it looks like the company is going to reveal to the public some sort of video features.

In the leaked images of the upcoming smartphone, it showed some apparent changes just like the front camera and light/proximity sensors situated now on the left. The transfer has actually made room for the suggested new display. Reports say that through this ticker display, users will able to easily take a glance at the information without necessarily unlocking the phone and powering up the main screen. It will display notifications, RSS feed updates, text messages, missed calls, subject lines of unread emails, weather forecast and even stock prices.
