Lil Wayne Lashes Out at Concert Goer for Throwing Bottle at Him
Lil Wayne recently scolded fans at a recent concert who threw a bottle on stage at him and threatened to retaliate if it happened again.
The 31-year-old rapper born Dwayne Carter recently performed in Dublin, Ireland when a bottle of beer was tossed on stage. While the rapper continued the show, he also issued a warning to the culprits after picking up the item that was thrown his way.
"Before I get started, someone just threw this up on the stage. Where I'm from, we don't throw things like this on the stage," Wayne said in a YouTube video of the incident posted by Whoa Entertainment. "So I'll let you know now that I will not stop my show for this. But where I'm from, we throw (expletive) back at your (expletive)."
Last summer, the rapper was involved in a similar incident while performing at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, N.J. He sternly warned the culprits not to continue with their behavior.
"Don't throw no ice at me homie, don't throw no ice at me because listen, not none of these security, none of these (expletives) around me, it will be me that (expletive) you up," the rapper said in a YouTube video of the incident before continuing with his show.
It seems the rapper is focusing more on performing these days than leading an excessive lifestyle which may have involved substance abuse. He opened to Katie Couric, the host of the morning talk show "Katie" about doctors warning him about his addiction to sizzurp or syrup.
After a series of seizures landed him in the hospital six months ago, the rapper opened up about having to cut the substance out of his life.
"I'm an excessive person," Carter admitted to Couric. "And everything I do is, I kinda do it abundantly… And I was doing it too much."
