Lindsay Lohan Denies Sister Ali Has Had Cosmetic Face Surgery
Ali Lohan, 17-year-old model sister of troubled actress Lindsay Lohan is the object of speculation after recent pictures have caused some to question if she had her face cosmetically altered, or whether she has an eating disorder.
After pictures of a thin Ali with a thinner looking nose and high cheekbones surfaced, E! News spoke to a cosmetic surgeon.
Dr. Robert Rey, who has worked with Hollywood stars and participated in the Miss Universe 2011 pageant, said that although her weight has contributed to changes in her face he sees evidence of cosmetic enhancements.
"Ali appears to have lost quite a bit of weight, which can dramatically alter a person's face. Cheeks protrude more and [her] overall appearance is somewhat gaunt," Rey said, according to E!News. “It does appear as if she may have had a rhinoplasty. Because in her photos now, her nose appears narrower and the tip more defined."
Ali’s mother, Dina, appeared on The Wendy Williams show on Tuesday to discuss the rumors surrounding her daughter’s appearance.
"I was startled when I saw the pictures and we'll just get right to it," Williams asked Dina. "Is it plastic surgery?"
Ali’s mother denied the allegations.
"Absolutely not," Dina said. "She's 17, I don't really believe in plastic surgery for young girls. Some do, I don't."
Dina told Wendy that some of the rumors made no sense in her mind and that time and age had changed her daughter’s appearance.
“They actually said she had an eyebrow lift. I don't even know what that is, but no. And then botox? What 17 year old has wrinkles,” Dina asked Williams. “She did grow three and a half inches..She’s taller than Lindsay and I. She’s a giant.”
Actress Lindsay took to her twitter account to vent about the speculation concerning her sister’s appearance.
“I love how haters pick on my sister yet every runway model is just as thin! My sister is gorgeous and I'm so proud of her and her career!!"
