Lindsay Lohan Freed From Probation: 'She Did It!' Exclaims Judge

Lindsay Lohan has taken a step in the right direction and successfully completed the terms of her probation. This is the first time in four years that Lohan is completely free from court.

Judge Stephanie Sautner could not hide her pleasure at Lohan's progress, exclaiming, "She did it!" to the court. Lohan has had a turbulent time while on probation but seemed to be making progress in meeting the Judge's conditions.

The actress was given community service in lieu of jail after drunken-driving and misdemeanor grand theft charges were filed in 2007. Lohan initially failed to report for her community service and received a stern warning from Judge Sautner, who reminded her: "Probation is not a gift."

The judge then revoked Lohan's probation and sentenced her to 30 days in jail. Bail was set at $100,000, was promptly paid, and Lohan was ordered to report in court on Nov. 2. At that hearing, she was assigned 53 days of community service at a Los Angeles county morgue and 18 therapy sessions.

Lohan received a positive report from Judge Sautner in December and was encouraged to keep up the good work.

"You're doing well, and I'd like to see it continue," Sautner told Lohan.

A relationship has grown between the two, and before leaving court, Lohan told the judge, "I hope I see you again soon. What you've done has really opened a lot of doors for me."

"You need to live your life in a more mature way, stop clubbing and focus on work," Sautner said before dismissing the court.

Lohan actually has several projects in the works, according to her spokesman Steve Honig.

"She is ready to start the next chapter in her life and get back to work and doing what she loves to do-making movies," he said in a statement. She will guest star on the hit series "Glee" and portray icon Elizabeth Taylor in a made-for-TV movie.

Should Lohan slip back into her old ways of partying, clubbing, and alcohol abuse, she will face a 245-day jail sentence.
