Lindsay Lohan Half-Sister Agrees With Actress: Wants No Part in 'Lohan Train-Wreck' (VIDEO)
Linday Lohan recently discovered that she has a half sister but according to reports, the actress has zero interest in a family reunion and her new sister seems to agree.
News spread on Thursday that Lohan had a half sister on her father Michael Lohan's side. But not only did Lohan deny having any prior knowledge of the relative, the news also came as a shock to Michael Lohan.
Michael agreed to a DNA test on national TV to determine whether he fathered a daughter in 1995 with mistress Kristi Horn. The daughter's name is Ashley and according to the test results, Lohan is in fact the father.
Ashley's mother stated that she had sought child support from Michael Lohan for years on Trisha Goddard, a U.K. talk show. But Lohan had denied that Ashley was his daughter and refused to make any payments. After the revelation Michael Lohan attempted to offer Ashley a hug on television, but she wanted no part of it and it would appear that Lindsay Lohan feels similarly.
"I don't want to be part of the Lohan train-wreck," Ashley said on the show.
Now her half sister, Lindsay Lohan, has made a statement that is much the same.
"Lindsay Lohan has ZERO plans to meet her newly-announced 17-year-old half-sister ... in fact, she wants nothing to do with her ... ever," TMZ reported.
According to the report, Lohan doesn't harbor any ill will towards Ashley but found the whole situation "disgusting" because her father was still married to her mother Dina at the time.
Michael Lohan, however, has suggested that he has hopes that the two will unite.
"I am sorry to hear Lindsay feels that way," he told TMZ. "I met Ashley and she is a good kid. But we all have our choices to make in life, as well as our own prerogatives. Who knows, maybe someday things will change. Regardless, I want the best for all my kids."
