Lindsay Lohan Must Seek 'Right Path With God,' Dad Says

Michael Lohan is encouraging his daughter, Lindsay Lohan, to embrace "God" as the actress continues to receive praise from a California judge for staying out of legal trouble while on probation.

"People can make things right with a judge but that doesn't mean they can make it right with God," Michael recently told Radar Online.

"On the other hand, judges don't always pass the right judgment themselves. God is the ultimate judge, and he judges us based upon what he sees and knows- not man! I think we all know that all too well. For those who don't, I feel sorry for them," he added.

Lohan has almost completed her court ordered community service following ongoing legal woes stemming from a 2007 DUI arrest. Despite going to prison at one point, the 25-year-old "Mean Girls" actress has received praise from Judge Stephanie Sautner, who has been overseeing her case.

"It appears that she is on the right path, and if she gets on the right path with God, he will hold the final gavel for her," Michael said.

Lohan will appear before Judge Sautner for a last time before her probation ends, and her father believes that in order for her to truly keep her life in order she must find God.

"I've been there myself and Lindsay is there now. We all sit in God's cross hairs, while standing at each crossroad of our life. We have a choice to make and then God will be – and is – the ultimate judge," he added.

During Lohan's recent probation progress report hearing, Judge Sautner commended her for improving her life and remaining on the right side of the law.

"You seem to be getting your life back on track! You're in the home stretch!" Judge Sautner told the humbled actress.

Although Lohan is reportedly sober and off of illegal drugs, Michael still fears that prescription drugs could still pose a threat to her.

"I'm not worried about Lindsay drinking or doing drugs. I'm still concerned about her because of any prescription medication doctors might have her on. She never needed them before, especially when she was at her best, so why does she need them now?" Michael said.
