Lindsay Lohan 'Scary Movie 5,' Will Star Alongside Charlie Sheen: 'Shohan!'
Lindsay Lohan is set to sign a deal that will confirm her first appearance on "Scary Movie 5."
The former Disney star, who had faced a slew of setbacks and controversies including drug rehab and prison, will now appear in "Scary Movie 5," according to reports. The star was already in talks to do the film in July, but new reports have added that the star has now officially signed on.
"Her rep said that, 'as of right this moment,' she had not inked a deal, but all insiders are in agreement that she is definitely doing the movie," E! News reported.
The film will be the star's second since her fresh start earlier this year. Aside from her Lifetime debut as Liz Taylor, the star will also appear on the big screen for Paul Schrader's "The Canyons."
"A big part of the reason she did this was because of Paul Schrader and the opportunity to work with such an iconic filmmaker," Lohan's publicist, Steve Honig, said.
Lohan will play opposite James Deen, who has made a name for himself in adult films. The plot will be about young 20-somethings and their approach to life and ambition.
"Lindsay Lohan and James Deen not only have the acting talent," Schrader said. "They also have that screen quality that keeps you watching their every move."
Charlie Sheen has also been confirmed for his third appearance in the "Scary Movie" sequels. "High School Musical" star Ashley Tisdale will appear as well, in a leading role.
The fifth film is expected out by April of 2013, and it will predominantly parody "The Black Swan."
Fans of the movies looked forward to seeing Lohan and Sheen as a pair.
"The ultimate power couple... Shohan!" one user wrote on the E! News blog. "Lol. Just hide the alcohol and sharp objects on set."
