Lindsay Lohan's on the 'Home Stretch' of Her Probation, Says Judge

Lindsay Lohan's judge Stephanie Sautner told the actress in court on Wednesday, she's in the "home stretch" of a probation saga that has been ongoing since 2007.

This is the third month Lohan has received positive reports from her judge, which is a huge turnaround from previous years where she violated her probation by failing drug and alcohol tests, shoplifting, and missing community service work and therapy sessions.

"Miss Lohan, you're in the home stretch. You seem to be getting your life back on track," said Sautner at the Airport Courthouse.

Before her next hearing on March 29, Lohan must complete 14 days of cleaning up the county morgue as one of her community service requirements, and five more therapy sessions. When she completes both these things her probation for two drunk driving convictions will come to an end.

While the probation for the drunk driving will be removed, Lohan will still be under probation for stealing a necklace last year, though Judge Sautner says for this conviction she will not be required to meet a probation officer.

"All you have to do is obey all laws, stay out of trouble and get on with your life," Sautner told Lohan.

While there is usually a media frenzy surrounding the courthouse during Lohan's hearings on Wednesday far fewer reporters were in attendance.

"They just don't want to cover good news," Lohan's lawyer Shawn Holley said.

With the permission of her probation officer, Lohan is set to head to New York next week for a role hosting "Saturday Night Live." While is the fourth time the actress has hosted the show, it is the first time since her problems with the law began in 2007.

On Tuesday, it was also announced that the actress won the lead role in a made-for-TV movie about the life of Elizabeth Taylor.
