Lindsey Vonn Shows Tiger Woods Support at Masters

Lindsey Vonn has been spotted amongst audience members at the Masters in Augusta, Ga. as Tiger Woods competed on Thursday.

The Olympic skier and Woods recently went public with their romance, and despite her knee injury, Vonn showed support for her boyfriend during the golf tournament.

"I can't really walk too much," Vonn said, referring to her reconstructed right knee. "And it's so hilly here."

"Very different from a ski race," she told The New York Times' golf blog On Par.

The 28-year-old tore two ligaments in her right knee during a violent ski crash in February. Wearing a broad-brimmed beige hat paired with a dress on Thursday, Vonn's knee brace was visible.

It was a rare public appearance for Vonn and Woods, who announced their relationship via Facebook earlier this year after having been dating for "the last few months," according to Woods.

"Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become very close and are now dating," the world-renowned golfer posted. "We thank you for your support and for respecting our privacy. We want to continue our relationship, privately, as an ordinary couple and continue to compete as athletes."

Alternately, taking to her own Facebook page with the dating news, Vonn added that she would not "plan on addressing this further as I would like to keep that part of my life between my family and close friends."

"Thank you for understanding and your continued support! Xo LV," she added.

Meanwhile, the 2013 Masters played at the Augusta National Golf Club will run through August 14 and includes a, $8,000,000 purse.

"I'm looking forward to the tournament," Vonn said, according to On Par. "I'll be here every day to the end."
