Lindsey Vonn Tiger Woods Win Reaction: 'Greatest of All Time'
Lindsey Vonn congratulated her boyfriend Tiger Woods for his 79th PGA Tour win with a message posted to Twitter on Sunday.
The Olympic skier took to the social media site where she referred to Woods as the "greatest of all time" using the acronym G.O.A.T.
"So proud!!!! #79 #GOAT," Vonn posted following Woods' win at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.
Sunday was not the first time Vonn had publicly displayed her support of Woods. The 28-year-old athlete was among cheering audience members at the Masters in Augusta, Ga. where Woods competed earlier this summer.
Despite her obvious support of the golfer's career, Vonn and Woods are seldom spotted in public together, and the pair only recently announced their relationship via Facebook.
"Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become very close and are now dating," the world-renowned golfer posted in March. "We thank you for your support and for respecting our privacy. We want to continue our relationship, privately, as an ordinary couple and continue to compete as athletes."
Alternately, taking to her own Facebook page with the dating news, Vonn added that she would not "plan on addressing this further as I would like to keep that part of my life between my family and close friends."
"Thank you for understanding and your continued support! Xo LV," she added.
Meanwhile, Vonn is still recovering from tearing two ligaments in her right knee during a violent ski crash in February. However, she will be participating in the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics and has been training.
"Work hard every day #IWill #sochi2014 #nosweatnoglory," Vonn posted to Twitter on Saturday along with a photo of herself during a grueling workout.
The Sochi Olympics begin in Russia on February 7.
