Lisa Rinna Joining 'Real Housewives'? Deal 'Could Be Closed Very Soon'
Lisa Rinna is reportedly in the final stages of her Bravo TV contract following reports that the actress is joining the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" in season four.
The Hollywood soap opera actress, 49, was reportedly approached by Bravo TV producers ahead of season one of the hit reality TV show, but declined the offer. A source claims Rinna is now excited about becoming a "housewife."
"Producers had initially asked Lisa to become a part of the show when it first launched, but she turned it down because she decided to do her own reality show for TV Land," a source told RadarOnline.com.
"Lisa was honored to have effectively been given a second chance and negotiations are going so well that both sides believe the deal could be closed very soon," the source continued reiterating that she "really, really wants to join the show."
Rinna, who often works as a TV host, is best known for her roles on "Days of Our Lives" and Melrose Place. The mother of two is married to actor Harry Hamlin and she is currently starring on Donald Trump's All-Star "Celebrity Apprentice."
"She's exactly the new life that the show needs. Lisa might come across as very sweet, but she isn't a pushover. She is also a very successful business owner and hopes to highlight her clothing boutique, Belle Gray, on the show," the source said.
"She has a lot of celebrity clientele and Bravo is hoping they will also agree to appear on camera," the source added.
Also rumored to be a potential new cast mate is Baroness Monica Von Neumann, who is a wealthy socialite in Beverly Hills. In February, Bravo TV producers reportedly called Neumann in for an interview.
"It went really well. She had them cracking up. The producers asked about her past, where she lived, and why she's a Baroness. They appear to really love the idea of having her on the show," the source said.
All castmates from season three are expected to return in season four, but Kim Richards is reportedly yet to confirm her return to the hit reality show.
