'Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time' News: Post-Launch Update Will Add Online Battles, Co-Op Modes
Still unclear exactly when that post-launch update will be provided
"Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time" is not out just yet, but developers are already talking about what kind of support it is expected to receive post-launch.
Developers revealed during the fourth monthly "Little Witch Academia Anime & Game broadcast" that they are planning to add online battles following the game's official release, Gematsu reported.
On top of that, two co-op modes are going to be released as well, with one that is playable online and the other will of course remain functional even offline.
Those additions are expected to be included in a post-launch update. Thus far though, no exact release date for when that particular update will be made available has been provided.
It is worth noting that since the game is already due out in Japan on Nov. 30 but not heading west until the early part of next year, there is still a chance that the aforementioned features will simply be made available to players in the west right from the start.
"Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time" will feature two main gameplay modes. The first one is known as Adventure Mode, and this will enable players to just walk around and explore the Luna Nova Magical Academy.
In Side-scrolling Action Mode, players can go through dungeons and participate in battles, while taking control of protagonist Akko and her friends.
While progressing through the game, players will be able to stumble upon new items that can be used to further strengthen the playable characters. Characters can also gain levels as they participate in more battles. Puzzles will also be put in place to further challenge players.
New areas and enemies are included in the game as well, and these give fans of the series new things to check out.
More news about "Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time" should be made available in the near future.
