Liverpool vs. Sunderland Live Stream: Watch EPL Football Online

Liverpool plays Sunderland on Wednesday at Anfield and the club hopes manager Brendon Rogers will be fit enough to be on the sidelines after missing the club's previous match.

Rogers missed the clubs last match, a 3-0 victory over QPR, due to an illness, but could be set to return to the touchline when they play Wednesday night.

An illness has been making its way through the club and has even affected midfielder Jordan Henderson and back-up goalkeeper Brad Jones, who developed symptoms before Sunday's match against QPR.

Liverpool will have to play without the help of defender Jose Enrique, who will be watching from the sidelines due to a hamstring injury. Winger Stewart Downing, who has played previously at left-back previously, could be set to fill in once again.

For Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill, he will have to contend with some key injuries if his side is to come away with points on Wednesday.

John O'Shea, the Irish international, suffered a hamstring injury during Saturday's 2-1 home defeat by Tottenham, and has been ruled out for the match against Liverpool. Trainers have not stated how long the defender would be out.

One bright spot for the club could be the return of Fullback Danny Ros, but captain Lee Cattermole and defender Wes Brown will be unavailable for the match.

O'Neill and Sunderland have placed a large burden on Steven Fletcher to be the offensives motor for the club and he has risen to the challenge, recording eight goals in 20 matches.

To take some of the offensive burden off Fletcher, rumors are swirling that the club has been in talks with the New York Red Bulls over a deal that would send Australian international Tim Cahill to the club.

O'Neill has been encouraged with his club's defensive performances, given that the club has recorded 15 shutouts in the League this season- they are second only to Manchester City, who has 17.

Kickoff for the match is at 2:45 p.m. and can be watched online here.
