'Logan' Release Date, News: Logan Tries to Lay Low in 'Sunseeker' Promo Clip

Most superheroes try to protect their identity and the people around them by making sure they remain anonymous. Some, however, just wants to forget their past and disappear, just like what Logan is trying to do in the latest teaser that was revealed a few days ago.

It the movie clip labeled "Sunseeker," Logan (Hugh Jackman) is doing his best to not draw attention to himself by becoming a limo driver, taking people wherever they want to. He's his usual impatient self as he is seen raising his middle finger against someone on the road, yet what's interesting is how a saved message mentioned the name "James Howlett."

According to Polygon, James Howlett is Wolverine's real name, and it's quite curious to hear it on this movie. It could be that since this is expected to be the final movie, it may tackle not only his future and how he hands it off to X-23, but also his origins.

It looks like the film is slowly leaking very short portions of the movie to create further hype, not that it needs it. From the looks of the reactions of fans, however, it appears that stunt is working. Netizens even go as far as analyzing Logan's demeanor, saying it's like he just wanted to let his claws out anytime.

Before this clip was released, another one was unveiled previously. In that sneak peek, Logan's friend was trying to reason out with some tough-talking guys who carry weapons with them. Since words can't get through to them, Logan punched the man carrying a shotgun and snapped his firearm into two.

With less than a month before the film's release, it is crunch time for the movie to make sure everyone watches out for it. "Logan" bears his claws for one last time on March 3, 2017.
