Filming is set to kick off on March 22. Actress Katee Sackhoff, who plays Vic in the series, revealed this bit of news on social media. It is expected that Sackhoff, Taylor and Lou Diamond Phillips will be present on the first day.
"Longmire" executive producers Hunt Baldwin, Greer Shephard and John Coveny thanked the streaming giant for giving the show another chance. The series was originally airing on A&E but was axed. Netflix picked up the story and renewed it until season 6.
Meanwhile, fans are still expecting Vic and Walt to see some progress in their romantic storyline. In the previous installments, Vic and Walt appeared to be moving forward. However, Walt later got romantically involved with Donna (Ally Walker). This led fans to believe that a Walt-Vic romance is no longer possible.
