Los Angeles Kings vs Chicago Blackhawks Live Stream (Start Time): Watch NHL Hockey Online
On March 30, 2015, the Chicago Blackhawks host the Los Angeles Kings at the United Center in the NHL. The puck drops at 8:30 p.m. ET.
Both teams are currently racing to reach at least a wild card spot before the playoffs begin, and this all-important head-to-head battle could determine which of them moves on and who goes out.
Already meeting twice this season, this will be a series decider between the two after each team holds a win over the other.
Both times the match was held in California, with the Blackhawks taking two points in late November. The match ended 4-1 with Daniel Carcillo finding the back of the net in less than two minutes from the start of the game. Brad Richards doubled the lead with two minutes left in the first period.
Jordan Nolan cut the lead in half with a tip-in in the second period but Richards scored his second and secured the two-goal lead with a wrister after two minutes. Brandon Saad scored in the third period to formally complete the route, as Chicago dominated in the offensive end as they outshot the Kings 25-20 after three periods.
In their second meeting in January, the Kings got their revenge after a tough 4-3 win. This time, it was Patrick Kane who scored early for the Kings but Jeff Carter leveled the score in the ninth minute. Patrick Sharp was able to give Chicago back the lead in the 12th minute and the Blackhawks ended the period leading 2-1.
Carter got his second of the game, a power-play goal, in the second period to bring it back level but Andrew Shaw scored early in the third period for the lead to return to Chicago. With less than ten minutes remaining, Tyler Toffoli scored to bring things 3-3 before Jake Muzzin eventually found the winner in the 57th minute for Los Angeles.
