That bodes well for what will be a long, tough season, and the teams with more depth in their rosters will be better placed to maintain form when injuries or bad form hits some of their stars.
Last season the Lakers won three of their four face to face meetings with the Mavericks, but this season Dallas comes into the game with a very much mixed up roster, which includes a lot more youth and athleticism.
