Louis C.K. once again showed why he is one of the most insightful comedians of his generation in an appearance this week on TBS' "Conan." In a five minute segment that has already gone viral on YouTube, he explains why deep loneliness as an innate part of human nature leads him to deny cellphones for his kids.

"Underneath everything," Louis C.K. said, "there's that thing. Like, a empty, forever empty. You know what I'm talkin' about?"
