'Love and Hip Hop' K. Michelle Dating Ryan Lochte? 'He is Inspirational' (PHOTO)
"Love and Hip Hop" star Kimberly Michelle Pate "K.Michelle" has responded to a YouTube video in which she admits to dating a swimmer following reports that she and Ryan Lochte are romantically involved.
The 26-year-old openly admitted to dating "a white boy" who is a "swimmer" in the video, which has since gone viral on social networking sites. While some critics assume that she is referring to Lochte, the reality TV star insists that the video is old and that her relationship with the Olympic Gold medalist is platonic.
"Um my friendship with Ryan Lochte...that's my friend. Like um we met a year ago through his attorney whose a great person...well his manager and we're just kool," K.Michelle told GlobalGrind.com.

"Of course he's gorgeous, so much fun like he really is like a really inspirational person to me because I just remember him saying 'you know (bout my music) you'll be ok you know?' He trains for years for one moment," she added.
The Vh1 star says "I date a white boy he's a swimmer" in the YouTube clip and she did not confirm whether she was referring to Lochte when asked about the video.
"That was really old...that video was so old. Like I had blond hair, daisy dukes...that was really old. Probably like almost two years ago," she said.
Reports of a romance began swirling after K. Michelle tweeted her support for 27-year-old Lochte, who is currently in London competing in the 2012 Olympic games.
"OK ITS GOING DOWN THE 2012 OLYMPICS JUST STARTED AND MY POOH @ryanlochte IS ABOUT TO KICK A--. SO PROUD OF U. LUV YA," K. Michelle tweeted.
Lochte won the gold medal in the men's 400-meter individual medley on Saturday, which prompted more praise from the Vh1 star.
"And let the whip a-- begin @ryanlochte wins his first gold medal . I'm so f----- proud of u!!!!!" she tweeted.
Ileana Lochte, Lochte's mother, recently insisted that her son is single following a string of reports that also linked him to Australian swimmer Blair Evans.
"I don't think he wants to get into a relationship ... he doesn't have time," Ileana told Us Magazine.
