'Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood' News: Teairra Mari Speaks About Rehab Experience
Singer-songwriter Teairra Mari is feeling better after undergoing rehabilitation in the current season of "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" (LHHH).
According to VH1, Mari was mostly optimistic when she opened up about her recent rehab experience during the last "The Real" segment in the reality series. The singer said she looked and felt better after the ordeal although she had reservations at first.
When Moniece Slaughter and the others initially proposed the rehab to her, Mari said she reacted badly. Still, after the process, she could not deny that she felt like a new woman. The singer said she planned to take things one day at a time and urged the fans to have more patience with her.
Mari also talked about her struggles in determining whether he co-stars are genuinely worried about her or not. According to her, it is difficult to decide whether they truly care or have ulterior "camera-time" motives. Mari emphasized that she is a work in progress and that it might take time before she is back to her 100 percent self.
Meanwhile, "LHHH" star Safaree Samuels is joining the cast of "Love & Hip Hop: New York." In an interview with In Touch Weekly, the rapper said that it was like going back home. He is currently busy promoting his new show, "Scared Famous."
"I'm very excited. I was down in LA and paying attention to my surroundings and like, 'I need to move back to New York. I need to be back home, I need to be around my friends, my family, and people that have really known me,'" he said during a Facebook live. "So I decided I want to move back to New York."
Samuels also talked about the current season of "LHHH," stating that it is probably the best installment yet. Each episode, he said, is better than the last, while the reunion is, hands down, "crazy."
"I love it. I think it's one of their best seasons. It keeps going up and up and I feel like it's just getting better and better by the episodes, and the reunion was crazy! I feel like it's probably one of the best reunions they've ever shot."
"Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" season 4 airs Mondays, at 8 p.m. EDT on VH1.
