'Love & Hip Hop: New York' News, Update: Rapper Bow Wow Slams Erica Mena's Emotional Social Media Post On Her Miscarriage

Earlier this week, former star of VH1's hit reality TV series "Love & Hip Hop: New York," Erica Mena, shared an emotional message concerning a miscarriage that she suffered when she was four months pregnant. The announcement, however, didn't sit well with her fiancé, Bow Wow, who calls the action as rather "attention seeking."

Citing the report from International Business Times, the rap artist, whose real name is Shad Gregory Moss, said in his Instagram account, "I feel like telling your personal business on social media, I feel like that's one of the lamest things you possibly do."

"I feel like it's attention seeking, especially when it's news that happened five months ago. It's not recent, it's five months ago," the 28-year-old added.

Mr. Moss went on to say that the event is "nothing new" and that "you don't wait till now, do it when it happens."

Both Mena and Bow Wow have children from each of their own previous relationships. The said unborn child would have been their first together as partners.

Last week, Mena posted a photo of herself in Instagram which she captions with what appears to be a memorial poem for the lost child. Although she later took down the post, several media outlets like The Shade Room (via IBT) were able to pick up the details which can be fully read through this link.

In it, she said that her "world was ripped from under my feet" and that she prayed "that in another life, we get the chance to meet."

In conjunction to her Instagram post, the 27-year-old reality star said in her Twitter that she's always open in discussing such delicate issues.

"I'm open about it. I'm not the only one," she said in the post. "Speaking my mind has always helped me deal & heal. So I'm NEVER ashamed. Can you say the same?"
