Lumia 650 Release Date & Rumors: Leaked Images Reveal Render, Specs Include 5-Inch Display, Windows 10 Mobile
It's no surprise that Microsoft is on a roll of releasing new devices. After the Lumia 950, Lumia 950 XL and Lumia 550, the tech giant is rumored to release their fourth Windows 10 handset dubbed as the Lumia 650.
According to Phone Arena, the device is codenamed as Lumia Saana. And although the device is not yet announced, information via leaked images have already surfaced. The handset was first seen in October when a render showing its black version emerged. The latest one circulating in the web is the white version, but it's not really different from the first one that was revealed.
GSM Arena noted that the unannounced Lumia 650 resembeles the Lumia 850 very closely. The latter has already showed up a couple of times, But the 650 does have its distinct look. The speaker slit that is sitting at the top edge of the front panel is a reflection of the existing Lumia 640. Meanwhile, a similar slit that is found at the bottom is a design accent that is fresh to the lineup.
Aside from the Windows 10 Mobile as its operating system, it is known through the leaked images that the Microsoft Lumia 650 sports a 5-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels. It goes to show that it's actually bigger than the Lumia 550, which sports a 4.7-inch 720p screen. Winbeta also detailed that the device supports dual-SIM and comes with on-screen navigation keys. It is also said that it will have a Snapdragon 210 processor, paired with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory.
There aren't much details available for now. In fact, the camera specifications are not known yet. But considering it's going to be a mid-tier device, there isn't much to expect with it especially with internals. It is expected to be another budget-friendly smartphone though.
It's not certain either when Microsoft is planning to release the Lumia 650. Fans who are interested will just have to wait and see.
