Luther Seminary Introduces Kairos Continuing Education Courses for Summer
Luther Seminary will continue educate students through out the summer by offering a variety of Kairos continuing education courses. Continuing education in the ELCA is intended to better equip those in leadership roles so that the whole body of Christ may better carry out Gods mission. The courses have been carefully planned and reviewed by clergy and their staff support committee. They annually hold meetings to discuss Kairos activities and hours.
The ELCA expects a minimum of 50 contact hours annually in continuing education. A contact hour is defined as a typical 50-minute classroom instruction session or the equivalent.
Below is the first Kairos course which will be offered from June 3-4, 2004. For more information about Kairos courses go to www.luthersem.edu
