MacBook Air 2012 Specs Released, Available NOW! (PHOTO)

Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference 2012 has opened with a bang, and the tech. giant has not disappointed. Apple immediately released the specs of its new MacBook Air.

The WWDC 2012 opened at 1 p.m. ET today and Apple's Phil Schiller addressed excited tech. fans from more than 60 countries. "Today we'll talk to you about the MacBook line-up…[The Macbook Air] It revolutionized the notebook, it's a breakthrough. Everyone's trying to copy it, but they find it's not easy. Our customers love them!"

He went on to reveal the specs for the new Macbook Air, and it will feature the latest Ivy Bridge 3rd Gen Core processors, up to 2GHz dual-core i7. It will also boast a Turbo Boost up to 3.2GHz, as well as up to 8GB 1600MHz memory.

Schiller announced that the new Air will have 60 percent faster graphics, and up to 512 GB SSD. The laptop will have a 720p Facetime camera, and be available in 11 inch and 13 inch versions.

On each side of the Air there will be a USB Port, one will be a 2.0 USB Port and the other being a 3.0 USB Port.

It was also revealed that the 11-inch will have a 5 hour battery life with prices starting at $999 for 1.7 GHz dualcore i5 with 4GB RAM and Intel HD Graphics 4000, PLUS 64GB SSD.

In addition, the 13-inch will price from $1199 with 1.8GHz dual-core i5, 4GB RAM, and 128GB SSD.

Ivy Bridge processors will be available up to 2.7Ghz quadcore i7. It can be availabe with up to 8GB 1600MHz memory and NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M GPU with up to 1GB of memory

Apple fans will be excited to know that all new Macbook Air models will be available for shipping today.
