MacBook Pro 2016 Latest News, Release Date and Rumors: Apple Laptop to Have Flatter Keyboard and Come with Bluetooth AirPods? Specs and Features
Apple's much-awaited MacBook Pro 2016 is the subject of many rumors to date. The speculations range from specs to release date and so much more. Here are the latest.
Specs
The specifications of the newly released Apple iPhone 7 may provide hints about what the MacBook Pro might look like or how it may perform from an internal standpoint.
Specifically, the iPhone 7 now uses an A10 Fusion processor instead of the Intel processors found in previous iPhones.
As such, there is a good chance that other upcoming Apple products will use A10 Fusion chips as well, such as the MacBook Pro 2016. On the other hand, A10 Fusion chips may only work well with mobile devices like the iPhone 7, and Intel X86 processors may still be the better choice when it comes to MacBooks.
The Apple iPhone 7 design doesn't include a headphone jack, and some ponder on the possibility that the MacBook Pro will botch the jack as well. Along with this, MacBook Pro 2016 users might be introduced to Bluetooth-powered AirPods.
The MacBook Pro 2016 will have a flatter keyboard; on top are function keys that are displayed digitally and have the ability to change into different options depending on the application on screen.
Other rumored features of the MacBook Pro 2016 include OLED touchscreen panel and Touch ID, a slimmer and lighter body, 13-inch screen, and larger trackpad that showcases Force Touch Technology.
The MacBook Pro 2016 will have a USB Type-C port that has a very fast data transfer capabilities thanks to Thunderbolt 3.There will be two kinds as rumored; one that has an 8GB RAM and another that has a 16 GB RAM.
Release Date
Many people thought the MacBook Pro 2016 will be launched alongside the iPhone 7 last September 16. That never materialized, so the new rumors point to a new release date which falls within the last quarter of this year.
However, Apple has not even provided the least bit of details regarding any plans to develop any new laptop. With Apple keeping silent about any release date or any development whatsoever, the MacBook Pro 2016 is far from being a certainty.
Mark Gurman of Bloomberg reports that the new MacBook Pro will be released on October.
iPad Mini 5
Other recent rumors suggest that the new MacBook Pro release this year will be followed by an iPad Mini 5 release next year. Some of its rumored features include 32 GB of storage, 3D Touch, better chipset, and A9 processor.
