'MacGyver' Season 1 Episode 19 Spoilers: Stakes May Get Higher in Season's Last Four Episodes
Fresh out of a crossover with fellow CBS show, "Hawaii Five-0," the Phoenix Foundation's think tank are back on their home court in the next episode of "MacGyver."
Unfortunately, aside from a return date, CBS has not yet released any information about the show's upcoming 19th episode. But with only less than five episodes to go in its first 22-episode run, MacGyver (Lucas Till) and his team may well be facing the threat of their biggest antagonist head-on.
It has only been several episodes back when their former mentor, Thornton (Sandrine Holt), was revealed to be the mole who had been leaking information to the Organization and was subtly and secretly been sabotaging the Phoenix Foundation. And despite having been arrested for her crimes, she was still able to coordinate a plan that got Mac and his team disavowed and stranded in a foreign country as suspected terrorists in episode 17.

And while the new Phoenix director, Matty (Meredith Eaton), has put an end to further threats from Thornton, this will hardly stop the Organization from regrouping and trying to bring them down again.
"MacGyver" will surely be upping the stakes in the final few episodes of its first season. CarterMatt speculated that the show may also bring Nikki (Tracy Spiridakos) back if only to tie up the loose ends left in her storyline, or create new ones that could maybe lead to a second chance at romance for her and Mac.
Bozer's (Justin Hires) chances with Riley (Tristin Mays), though, might be at a standstill as she entertains an acquaintance she met in Hawaii. Will Bozer decide to let Riley go, or will this only strengthen his resolve to stand by his feelings for her?
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Peter M. Lenkov, who serves as executive producer for both reboot shows, "MacGyver" and "Hawaii Five-0," hinted at more crossovers between the two shows in the future.
"It's the beginning of a beautiful friendship. This was an experiment in some way. We really learned how to do it and how to make this work more effectively next time," Lenkov said.
"MacGyver" season 1 episode 19 airs on Friday, March 31 at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
