Mad Men Season 6: James Wolk Returning as Bob Benson?
The beloved, wise-cracking character Bob Benson, played by James Wolk, delighted fans of AMC's hit drama "Mad Men." Many fans believed Wolk would not be returning to "Mad Men" as he got a role on CBS's new comedy "The Crazy Ones," where he will star along side Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar. However, it appears that Wolk is still willing to be a part of "Mad Men," if they'll have him.
"If they want me (back on 'Mad Men'), we can certainly try to make something happen," Wolk said during promotion for "The Crazy Ones" at the Television Critics Association summer press tour, according to Today.com.
"It's in their hands, but I loved working on ('Mad Men') and I'd love to be back there," the actor said.
Apparently the role of Bob Benson was one of Wolk's favorite of his career.
"That was a joy -- working on that show was incredible. I've been a fan of that show, so to come in and get a role like that really felt like a gift. It was just a great experience," he said to Today.com.
In an interview with The Backlot, James Wolk discussed what working on "Mad Men" was like.
"That experience (of working on "Mad Men") for me was, one, of working with amazing actors and, in my opinion, one of the most incredible ensembles on TV. So just to watch those guys work and see a show that's in its sixth season that's still kicking ass and taking names is just fun to watch all that happens," the actor said.
