'Madam Secretary' Season 3 Episode 18: Elizabeth Teams Up With Famous Actress for a Cause
Elizabeth (Téa Leoni) will ask for the help of a Hollywood star in dealing with an international affair in the upcoming episode of "Madam Secretary."
In the episode titled "Good Bones," the synopsis (according to CarterMatt) reveals that the State Department is planning to meet with the president of Kyrgyzstan to discuss a sensitive topic. The Americans want to help the Central Asian country end its problems with human trafficking. Elizabeth and her squad will team up with famous actress Ashley Whittaker (Julia Nicole Schlaepfer) for the cause.
They are hoping that the star's presence will put the Kyrgyzstan leader at ease and make the negotiations smoother. Ashley will be accompanied by her mother, Jeri (Cady Huffman). Elizabeth is keeping her fingers crossed that things will go exactly as they planned.

Unfortunately, something will go wrong in the mediation process. Elizabeth may have just signed the death sentence of an American captive. What will she do to stop blood from being shed?
Meanwhile, Henry (Tim Daly) is more determined than ever to stop the combined effort of the cult and the CIA smuggling ring from succeeding in their mission. Last episode, he was shot while trying to get away from an apparent ambush. His informant was compromised, but Henry still believes he can crack the case. A bomb will go off and hurt fellow Americans if he will fail. He cannot afford to make mistakes.
Henry will reportedly track the bomb to be used in the doomsday attack in the U.S. He will soon learn that there is more to the cult's plan than what he originally realized. The group appears to be planning another assault, deadlier and more destructive than the first one. This deeply worries Henry. He needs more information about the second planned attack, but time is running out. Will he be too late to save lives?
