Madden NFL 15 Reviews: Football Simulator Well Received by Critics, Some Fans Less Impressed
Electronic Arts American football simulator was just released more than a week ago and the reviews are already rolling in. Major gaming websites like Gamespot and IGN have already reviewed the game while fans expressed their mixed opinions on how the game went for them.
Madden NFL 15 is a game by EA released August 26 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. It is the 26th title in the franchise.
EA has made emphasis on the defensive plays for Madden NFL 15, supposed to liven up the times when the player has to defend against the opponent. It seems that critics and fans alike have noticed the improvement on the defensive gameplay and have commended EA's efforts for that.
Some fans however have given the game bad scores like user jermaine1122 on Metacritic.
"This feels like an older madden with new graphics. Actually I would take madden 05 over this game. If they want to fix anything fix your physics engine, it's so unrealistic. Maybe I'm asking too much, but for a huge company like EA sports it cannot be that hard. Long live NFL2K5!!" he wrote, giving the game an terrible "0" rating.
More often than not however, the game has been well-received and has garnered mostly positive scores. It averaged 82/100 on Metacritic, 7/10 on Gamespot, and an 8.7/10 on IGN.
