Maggie Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard Welcome Baby Gloria Ray
Maggie Gyllenhaal had her second child with husband Peter Sarsgaard April 19, according to reports, but this is the first the public is hearing about it.
Maggie Gyllenhaal gave birth to Gloria Ray in New York, the actress' representative told Us Weekly. Gyllenhaal and her husband, "Lovelace" actor Peter Sarsgaard, may be trying their best to protect their privacy, as no other details were given about Gloria.
This latest pregnancy- while sure to make the parents proud- could also make Gyllenhaal much busier. She is already the mother of a bouncy 5-year-old, Ramona, and she previously told Us Weekly that her little girl is a handful.

"I had been so focused on Ramona- and she's been everything to me- but I'm also an actress," she said in January of 2010. "It's not possible to do it perfectly."
With this most recent pregnancy, Gyllenhaal admitted that it was hard on her- especially because she refused to let others know she was pregnant until her second trimester. She sometimes used her wits to cover things up and protect her privacy.
"I find it difficult to pretend you're not pregnant, which I had to do," the 34-year-old mother told USA Today in March. "I didn't let anyone know until three and a half months this time. I went to film festivals. I'm throwing up in the bathroom and having to keep pretzels in my purse, and having to fit into dresses."
Gyllenhaal and Sarsgaard have been a couple for almost a decade, first meeting through Jake Gyllenhaal, who is a close friend. They were engaged four years later in 2006, and the actors got married May 2, 2009, in Brindsi, Italy.
Now that their family is expanding, Sarsgaard predicted that the two little girls would take some time to get to know each other.
"I've seen kids with siblings- I don't have any siblings, so I don't know- but they generally go for about five minutes, 'Oh, cool! Anyway, what are we going to do now? Can we return it?'" he told reporters at a Jay-Z concert in February. "I think it gets boring quickly, at first, and it takes a while for them to bond."
