'Magical Circle Guru Guru' Episode 15 Spoilers: Demon Kukuri to Wreak Havoc in 'Love! In the Uncanny Lands'

Things are about to go sideways on the next episode of the Japanese parody anime series, "Magical Circle Guru Guru" — at least, that's how it seems now that the innocent mage, Kukuri has unleashed the darkness within.

Kukuri, who has always been Nike's constant companion and support, has just turned into her demon form, thanks to some intensely angry emotions stirred in her by Suela. How can Nike hope to calm her down when it has always been the other way around?

The previous episode also went on to show a weird preview montage that may have effectively parodied a number of video game clichés but was so displaced from the series' narrative that the intended humor ended up being such a surprising treat for the fans.

As it turned out, Demon Kukuri was actually tampering with the previews and was showing stuff that had little to no relation to the series. If Demon Kukuri could do this to the next episode's preview, one can't help but wonder just how far-reaching her magic will turn out to be?

Can fans expect a totally different landscape when the show returns, or will Demon Kukuri be leading the same old view of the Uncanny Lands into total destruction?

The real title for the upcoming episode, though, seems to hint at some significant development in Nike and Kukuri's relationship. Curiously titled "Love! In the Uncanny Lands," it seems that Nike's feelings for Kukuri may well be the key to bringing the angry mage back to her innocent, sweet self.

Then again, things could also take an unexpected turn, as can now be expected from the series that hardly ever takes itself seriously.

"Magical Circle Guru Guru" airs on Tuesdays late night at 1:35 a.m. JST on TV Tokyo. Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official site. Episodes are also available in selected regions outside Japan via Crunchyroll.
