'Major Crimes' Season 6 Episode 1 Spoilers: Raydor Gets Intel on Stroh's Whereabouts
Commander Raydor (Mary McDonnell) will receive important evidence on the whereabouts of Phillip Stroh (Billy Burke) in the upcoming season premiere of "Major Crimes."
In the episode titled "Sanctuary City: Part 1," the synopsis reveals that the serial killer is set to return to Los Angeles soon. After receiving the latest evidence about Stroh's plan, Raydor cannot help but feel threatened. The criminal has so far managed to evade capture since he escaped from prison. When he was active, Stroh stalked Rusty (Graham Patrick Martin), taunting Raydor about the things he would do to her adopted son once he got his hands on the boy. She is scared of what Stroh would do just to get revenge on the members of the unit.
Meanwhile, the case that the squad will handle will revolve around three missing teens who vanished while out on a Catholic school field trip. Mason (Leonard Roberts), the new assistant chief, will reportedly treat the disappearance as a "critical missing," pushing his subordinates to comb through pieces of evidence to find a lead. As shown in the promo released, everyone was on tenterhook, trying to locate the boys. Most of them are unusually out of their characters, just like Provenza (G. W. Bailey) who will lose his temper on a suspect.
The white-haired detective is shown bellowing at someone during interrogation, yelling that he is under arrest for murder. Then, there is Sanchez (Raymond Cruz) who also cannot keep his frustration from showing when the man he is questioning refuses to cooperate. With time running out, Raydor will join her squad in the field as they try to locate the youngsters. This is a rare occurrence since she is usually left at the headquarters to supervise the team.
"Major Crimes" season 6 will premiere on Tuesday, Oct. 31, at 9 p.m. EDT on TNT.
