'Major Crimes' Season 6 Episode 1 Spoilers: Squad Investigates School Field Trip Gone Wrong
Commander Raydor (Mary McDonnell) and her team will investigate the horrid events that will take place during a Catholic school field trip in the upcoming season premiere of "Major Crimes."
In the episode titled "Sanctuary City: Part 1," the synopsis reveals that three teens will go missing while out on a school activity. New assistant chief Mason (Leonard Roberts) will order his squad to treat their disappearance as a "critical missing," forcing the agents to be on red alert. No stone will be left unturned in their search for shreds of evidence on where the kids could possibly be. Everyone is on edge, as it becomes a race against time to find the teens alive.
The promo shows Raydor joining her group in the field, something that she does not usually do. Suspects are being interrogated left and right. In one scene, Provenza (G. W. Bailey) is shown losing his temper, screeching at a suspect that he is under arrest for murder. Sanchez (Raymond Cruz) also cannot reign in his temper as the one he is questioning refuses to cooperate with him. Meanwhile, amidst all the chaos, Raydor will receive important intel about the whereabouts of Phillip Stroh (Billy Burke).
Apparently, the serial killer has plans to return to Los Angeles soon. The information will send the commander in full protective mode. She knows that Stroh will come after her and her adopted son Rusty (Graham Patrick Martin). The criminal has made no secret of the fact that he will not stop tormenting the members of the Major Crimes unit. He is especially focused on Raydor, the person who sent him behind bars in the past. Stroh once stalked Rusty to spite Raydor. She has no wish to see her son in that situation ever again.
"Major Crimes" season 6 will premiere on Tuesday, Oct. 31, at 9 p.m. EDT on TNT.
