'Major Crimes' Season 6 Spoilers: Provenza Loses His Cool with a Suspect

Provenza (G. W. Bailey) will lose his temper with a suspect in the upcoming season premiere of "Major Crimes."

The promo for the new installment provides a glimpse of the complicated case the squad will take on. In the clip, Commander Raydor (Mary McDonnell) and her team are shown in a desperate search for a couple of boys who went missing. Tension is palpable in every scene in the trailer, especially when the agents started shouting and demanding information about the boys' whereabouts from the suspects.

In one of the scenes, Provenza is revealed to be losing his cool during the interrogation. He stands up and points a shaking finger at the one he is speaking to, yelling that he is under arrest for murder. Provenza is not the only one who seems to be letting his anger get the best of him. Sanchez's (Raymond Cruz) fury is evident as the suspect he is assigned to refuses to divulge anything.

Season 6 is going to be the last for the TNT series. It has been announced, according to Deadline, that the show will bid goodbye in January after airing its last 13 episodes. Sarah Aubrey, executive vice president of original programming for TNT, has revealed her thoughts about their accomplishments with "The Closer" and finally, its spinoff.

"Major Crimes has successfully navigated the many challenges that arise with a spin-off; the primary mission of which is staying true to its core DNA while expanding into unique territory all its own," Aubrey said. "From Brenda Leigh Johnson to Commander Sharon Raydor, the cast and crew have done a phenomenal job of creating enduring characters – many of whom are celebrating 200 episodes together this season."

"Major Crimes" season 6 will premiere on Tuesday, Oct. 31, at 9 p.m. EDT on TNT.
