'Major Crimes' Season 6 Spoilers: Raydor Joins the Squad in a Manhunt in Premiere
A desperate manhunt for missing children will ensue in the upcoming season premiere of "Major Crimes."
The promo released for the new installment showed the entire Major Crimes division working frantically to find a couple of kids who disappeared without a trace. Sharon (Mary McDonnell) and her team will be working with the local police, and it is proving to be a struggle for both sides. One of the officers questioned why the case was considered a major crime when it simply involved delinquent children. Provenza (G.W Bailey) seems to be losing his cool while speaking to another policeman. What was interesting in the trailer is that Sharon will join the squad in the field, something that she does not usually do in the series.
While Sharon is the brains behind her division, she is not usually needed outside during operations. Seeing her working with the rest of the agents signifies that the case they are handling is too important. Soon, the police will realize that it is not just a case of runaway kids. Agents will discover a bunch of cash stashed somewhere, which obviously has something to do with the "victims" they are tracking.
Viewers of the series are looking forward to fresh storylines just like this in season 6.
Previously, it has been teased that Billy Burke will return to reprise his role as Phillip Stroh. The return of the infamous serial killer will shake things up in the unit, especially when he starts making his move. Speculations indicate that Stroh is coming after Sharon to get revenge. There is also the possibility that he will stalk Rusty (Graham Patrick Martin) again. And if there is one thing that Sharon is afraid of, it is seeing her adoptive son hurt.
Rusty is already facing huge struggles in his young life. He does not need a criminal to terrify him further. The new installment is expected to reveal if he will stay or split up with his boyfriend Gus (Rene Rosado). The two have been fighting ever since the latter accepted a job at Napa Valley.
"Major Crimes" season 6 will premiere on Oct. 31 on TNT.
