'Making History' Season 1 Episode 6: Can Time Traveling Trio Survive Capone in 'The Godfriender'?
Getting stuck in the past with no way out is bad enough, but being hostages of an infamous mob boss in 1919 Chicago is a whole new level of screwed. Can hapless time travelers Dan (Adam Pally), Chris (Yassir Lester) and Deb (Leighton Meester) find a way out of their latest predicament in the next episode of "Making History"?
The trio may have started off with noble intentions for their time traveling gigs, but they quickly fell off the wayside when an ice cream parlor went on sale for $200,000, and there was nothing Deb wanted more than to own and run the place herself.
What followed was a trip back in time with the intention of winning big by betting on a game they already knew the results for. But in doing so, they unfortunately caught the attention of a certain Al Capone (Tim Robinson), especially since Dan just had to claim in a moment of desperation that they worked for the infamous gangster.

Now that the three of them are in Capone's home and their time traveling duffel bag is locked and secured inside the man's money vault, Dan, Chris and Deb will be hard-pressed in coming up with a plan to distract Capone from shooting them off before they can return to their proper timeline, and hopefully with enough money to buy Deb that ice cream place.
In the next episode titled "The Godfriender," Dan and Deb decide to befriend the Capone couple and teach the gangster a thing or two about treating his wife right. Dan, for his part, hopes to use the mobster know-hows he acquired from the movies to give Scarface some tips and tricks on how to become a better mobster.
On the other hand, Chris chooses to take advantage of scholastic smarts to take out the most infamous gangster in American history. Whose plan will ultimately get them back that duffel bag without losing their lives in the process?
"Making History" season 1 episode 6 airs on Sunday, April 23 at 8:30 p.m. EDT on FOX.
