Man Comforts Grieving Mother by Transforming Stillborn Baby's Crib in Surprise Act of Kindness (VIDEO)
Tragedy struck as Valerie Watts approached the due date to have her baby son Noah. His umbilical cord got pinched in the womb, and Noah was stillborn. Watts kept his crib in memory of her lost baby, but she eventually decided to sell it at a garage sale.
Gerald Kumpula builds furniture, and he bought the crib to turn it into something else. However, when he learned the story behind it, he decided to show Watts kindness by converting the crib, which has a specific place and purpose, into a bench.
A week later, Kumpula gave Watts the transformed crib, and it brought her to tears.
"It's amazing, and there's good people out there," she told KMSP. "There's proof."
