Man Makes $900 Root Beer Float From Scratch (Watch)
Oh the root beer float. The best possible combination of ice cream and soda ever devised by man. Usually they are pretty cheap at local restaurants.
However one YouTuber offers a way to make a $900 root beer float, which at the least he says is pretty good.
Andy George, of the YouTube account "How to Make Everything," traveled approximately 1,100 miles to collect all the essential ingredients to make the concoction from scratch.
That includes extracting maple syrup straight from the tree, goats milk straight from the udder, and gathering herbs and roots from a forest.
Finally, he mixes his ingredients to create something that has a level of purity and originality that's lacking in most mass-produced products.
Uploaded to YouTube on Nov. 10, the video has collected more than 100,000 views, along with over 600 likes and about 25 dislikes.
It also has its share of diverse perspectives in the comments section, with some questioning how much "from scratch" something can be when George did not plant the trees or build the farm containing his ingredients.
Regardless, you are free to draw your own conclusions as you watch this step-by-step process of root beer float creation.
