Manchester City vs Juventus Live Stream: How to watch UEFA Champions League Soccer
Both are elite teams in Europe.
In one of the more exciting matches in the first day of the UEFA Champions League group stages, Manchester City welcome Juventus to the Etihad Stadium in a Group D battle.
The match is on September 15, 2015 at 2:45 PM ET.
Along with Borussia Monchengladbach and Sevilla, City and Juventus make up Group D and are heavily touted as the two teams to occupy the top two spots at the end of the group stages – helping them move on in the competition.
However, this early clash between current and former champions is one that is anticipated by many fans and experts.
City are looking to change their fortunes in the European scene as they have failed to replicate their success in their domestic league.
Last year, they were eliminated in the last-16 of the competition by eventual champions Barcelona.
In that match, City failed to win either legs and despite controlling Barca's scoring, they failed to find their own groove on the offense.
Similar to City, Juventus were eliminated in the competition by the Catalans. The only difference was that they battled in the competition's final.
The Turin club beat out teams like AS Monaco and Real Madrid to battle Barcelona in Berlin, but they eventually fell short as they lost 3-1.
They are certainly looking to change their fortunes and be on the winning end of the final of the Champions League and win their third UCL title in history.
Unfortunately for them, they are clearly struggling at the start of the year. With a few changes and some key players leaving the club, Juventus have looked wobbly. They have not won in the Italian Serie A and find themselves 16th in the league.
Meanwhile, City are on fire as they are atop the Premier League table and have won all their five league games so far.
Even more impressive is that they have kept clean sheets throughout the year so far.
