In the final stages of the season, holding on to the final UEFA Champions League spot is their most important mission now.

City's latest performance was a 4-2 thrashing at the hands of United, where they started off well with an early goal from Sergio Aguero.

Unfortunately, their defense could not hold up as they allowed four straight goals, two in each half to drop points again. Aguero scored a consolation goal late in the game but did little to change the result.

Meanwhile, West Ham find themselves in the middle of the table and are trying to climb higher before the season winds down.

They have also struggled since the New Year in the league as they have only won once in their last 10 games. Their last victory was a 1-0 win over Sunderland at home.

Their most recent result was a 1-1 draw against Stoke City. West Ham got an early goal through Aaron Cresswell and they looked well on their way to get three points until Marko Arnautovic levelled things for Stoke City in the fifth minute of injury time to share the points.

In their coming clash, West Ham hold a slim advantage after winning their first meeting of the season.

At the Boleyn Ground, Morgan Amalfitano and Diafra Sakho scored to give the Hammers a 2-0 lead before David Silva pulled one back. City ran out of time to mount a comeback and West Ham took three points.
