Manchester United News: Chicharito may leave Old Trafford.

Chicharito has not impressed early in the EPL

Following their recent 2-1 loss to Swansea City at Liberty Stadium, it seems that there are more problems for Manchester United.

Having kept three clean sheets in the beginning of the season, the Red Devils allowed two goals from the Swans, while their goal-scoring problems have continued.

Wayne Rooney has yet to end his Premier League scoring drought and Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez has not looked the same like his previous seasons with Manchester and his time with Real Madrid.

Manager Louis Van Gaal has been adamant that he is not looking out in the transfer window for a "panic buy" but reports claimed that Chicharito's time at Old Trafford is up.

Talks have rumored Chicharito with a move to the German club Bayer Leverkusen and the fee is said to be around £12 million for the Mexican striker.

At 27 years old, Chicharito has spent six season with the Red Devils. Last season, he was loaned to the Santiago Bernabeu outfit where he appeared in 23 games, scoring seven goals as a result.

United purchased the striker in 2010 from Mexican outfit Guadalajara for €7.5 million after scoring 21 goals in his final year with the team.

His best season with the Red Devils was in the 2010-11 season where he scored 13 goals.

He has won the English Premier League title with the team twice, while winning the CONCACAF Gold Cup in 2011 as a representative of the Mexican National Team.

If the deal pushes through, speculations have been raised that Van Gaal is interested in acquiring the services of AS Monaco's Anthony Martial.

The 19-year-old has seen his stock steadily rise during his time with the Ligue 1 side, enough to link him with a move to England for an amount running around £36 million.

With the transfer window closing down, expect movement and a lot of drama around the world of football.
