Manchester United host Fulham in the fourth round of the FA Cup at Old Trafford on Saturday as the home side enjoys a 13 match unbeaten streak in domestic competitions.
Manchester United and manager Sir Alex Furguson will be looking to continue their good form when United face off against former striker Dimitar Berbatov.
This will be Berbatov's first meeting against his former club since Ferguson sold him to Fulham for a fraction of what United acquired him for.
"I don't think Dimitar was a failure here … I think he did a great job here," Furguson said during a press conference.
"The problem is, I had choices and at his age it's not easy to be part of those choices when he's not playing. He wanted regular first-team football and we gave him the opportunity to go to Fulham," the manager added.
Ferguson will have to contend with the absence of midfielder Darren Fletcher, who is still recovering from bowel surgery. United will also be without Jonny Evans and winger Ashley Young as they are still nursing their respective injuries.
For Fulham's manager Mortin Jol his task will be to overcome United at home where they are riding a 10-match unbeaten streak in all competitions, but it will be a hard task given that Jol has never beaten Ferguson in his managerial career.
The Cottagers will have to overcome the absence of Simon Davies, Kerim Frei and Mahamadou Diarra leaving the side's midfield a bit weaker.
Jol will be much more assured with his plethora of attacking options led Berbatov who has been the focal point of the club's offense. They also have winger Ashkan Dejagah to streach the pitch and strikers Mladen Petric and Hugo Rodallega are used to getting in dangerous positions.
But Ferguson is also no stranger to high-pressured FA Cup games as the Red Devils have won the domestic cup competition a record 11 times with their last FA Cup trophy coming in 2004.
Kick-off for the match is at 12:30 p.m. ET and can be watched online here.
