Mandisa Helps People 'Overcome' with New Christian Themed Clothing Line, SimplyMandisa

Christian artist Mandisa is launching her own clothing line with SonGear.com called, SimplyMandisa, which will consist of inspirational based clothing and accessories developed on her own.

"I am a big fan of inspirational messages, based around faith, life, love and the desire to always follow God's path," said Mandisa in a press release. "I wanted to develop a line that would represent my passion and share my devotion. I meet people every day that touch my life and I want to reach out and touch the lives of others, sharing what inspires me. That is what this collection is all about."

"We are thrilled to be collaborating with Mandisa in developing the SimplyMandisa line that not only reflects her joyful pursuit of Christ, but gives others the opportunity to share their own faith and passion," said Bob Van Zandt of SonGear.com.

SonGear.com also carries Life with Jesus is better, their signature brand, as well as other Christian products including shirts jewelry, accessories, and more.

Mandisa recently made her Grand Ole Opry debut at the first annual "Opry Goes Pink," an event to bring awareness to Breast Cancer and show support for Women Rock For The Cure.

LeAnn Rimes turned the switch on for the Opry's signature barn backdrop, turning it pink for the night as Mandisa performed with other artists, Amy Grant, Pam Tillis, Lorrie Morgan and Natalie Grant.

She also will have her song "Overcomer" used as the title song for a new series hosted by Robin Roberts called "Overcomers."

In the series, Roberts will ask viewers to share their personal stories and then have a chance to share that story to the world on Good Morning America.

Mandisa also won the Uplift Someone Award at the GMA Dove Awards this week. The award is "for her music, message and humanitarian heart, all of which (individually and collectively) have inspired others."

She is currently on the "Brandisa Tour," a play on her name and fellow tour mate, Brandon Heath.
