Mandy Moore News: 'This Is Us' Actress Gets Engaged to Musician Taylor Goldsmith
Mandy Moore is officially engaged.
The news was confirmed by her "This Is Us" co-stars while speaking to Entertainment Tonight. Chris Sullivan, who plays Toby Damon in the NBC series, told the media outlet that he has seen the engagement ring. However, Moore has yet to tell them the story of how it happened.
"I was just in the studio with her boyfriend, well now fiancé, Taylor. He didn't say a word! He seemed a little effervescent, but he's always pretty effervescent... I know him very well. He's quickly becoming one of my favorite people, and he and Mandy are an incredible couple," Sullivan said. "She just sent out an alert over our family text chain, so I can't wait to hear about it."
All of Moore's "This Is Us" co-stars sent their good wishes and congratulations through the text chain. Entertainment Tonight also caught up with Jon Huertas, who plays Miguel on the show.
"Taylor is an amazing guy. I love him so much. I love Mandy so much," Huertas said. "I'm really happy that they're going to be joining the club!"
Moore has been in a relationship with musician Taylor Goldsmith for a while now. Earlier this year, the actress shared a photo of them smiling for the camera. For the caption, she wrote that she has had the best two years with Goldsmith.
The 33-year-old actress was previously married to singer-songwriter Ryan Adams. They tied the knot in March 2009 in Savannah, Georgia. However, in January 2015, Moore filed for divorce. It was revealed that they had already been separated for half a year prior to the filing.
Apart from the upcoming second season of NBC's hit show where she plays Rebecca Pearson, Moore will next be seen "The Darkest Minds" in 2018. She is also lending her voice to Rapunzel in "Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck It Ralph 2." She previously played the role in "Tangled" before reprising the part in "Tangled: Before Ever After" and "Tangled: The Series."
